THE REVOLUTIONARY APPROACH TO PERSONAL TRAINING
EXERCISE DATABASE - Exercise types
1
BALANCE EXERCISES

Balance & co-ordination are neglected from current
exercise methods. They are also used less and less
in everyday life and therefore must be included
within an exercise program. Balance is also essential
to core stability as it places huge demand on the
abdominals, and to achieve any specific goal,
especially weight loss.
2
FLEXIBILITY EXERCISES

Flexibility is essential to posture as tight muscles pull
joints into faulty positions. Performing movements
with weights or during sports with poor flexibility will
therefore put joints under pressure increasing the
chance of injury. Flexibility is more than stretching
and is explained in our stretching theory master
class.
3
RESISTANCE EXERCISES

Resistance or weights exercises have many benefits
to health and fitness, especially to prevent
osteoporosis, but also to improve the body for
everyday stresses placed upon it and muscular tone.
Women must focus on this as they are more
vulnerable to osteoporosis, and ignore the myth of
developing 'man muscles'.
4
MASTER CLASSES

Our master classes are easy to understand guides to
essential fitness topics such as: how to improve your
running technique or how to breath correctly. There
are also guides on specific exercises (squatting), and
an excellent account of improving the lower
abdominals.
5
CARDIOVASCULAR

Improving your fitness should not revolve around
endless treadmill running as your body will soon
adapt and get used to it. The focus must involve
challenging the body and its energy systems.
6
PLYOMETRICS

Plyometrics are dynamic actions aimed at improving
the explosive power of the muscles. This impacts
both the muscular and neutral (control) systems. It
is also an excellent tool in weight management, as
long as the body is in good alignment with excellent
posture.
